Job summary

Renewable Properties, LLC seeks a Permitting Manager to lead environmental, land use, and permitting strategies for solar PV, battery energy storage, and related grid infrastructure across the US, with emphasis in California.

You will coordinate outside consultants, prepare submittals, and interface with Interconnection Managers, EPCs, and legal counsel while supporting asset management to minimize environmental impact and streamline approvals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of land use and environmental permitting experience.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
• Experience navigating regulatory processes for solar PV, storage, and grid projects.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Travel as needed.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project development team with screening and siting of prospective solar projects
• Environmental due diligence on M&A projects
• Manage activities with outside consultants to meet regulatory and environmental requirements
• Prepare milestone schedules, budgets, and staffing for permitting and compliance
• Assist with applications to agencies and represent the Company in hearings/workshops
• Manage consultants and support public relations strategies and permitting documentation
• Coordinate with internal partners to enable design, interconnection, construction, and long-term operation
• Identify conditions of approval for long-term monitoring and reporting
• Monitor CAPEX during development and review invoices
• Other duties as assigned
