Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an experienced Outbound Manager to oversee outbound waste operations, plan production, and serve as a technical resource for the team. You will ensure loads are accurately created, shipments comply with regulations, and staff are coached to meet safety and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field and 5+ years in hazardous waste operations.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification current or able to obtain.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations as they relate to waste transport and processing.
• Experience leading outbound waste and staff in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations and plan office production while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Review outbound waste streams and create accurate loads for shipment.
• Direct and develop staff, ensuring safety and policy adherence.
• Coordinate with Plant management to maintain safe, compliant operations.
• Manage cost efficiency, process improvements, and weekly/monthly production summaries.
• Maintain waste tracking inventory and ensure accurate documentation.
