Job summary

The Maschhoffs is seeking an Environmental Crew Lead in Beardstown, IL to coach technicians and oversee manure application equipment across the operating geography. The role emphasizes safety, calibration, and regulatory compliance with state and federal standards.

You will work with farm managers to maintain irrigation and application equipment, troubleshoot pivot systems, and ensure accurate record-keeping while operating heavy machinery as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated; related field preferred.
• Experience in agriculture or environmental roles with equipment.
• CDL and welding certifications preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train Environmental Operations Technicians.
• Operate and maintain manure application equipment and keep records.
• Enforce safety and environmental policies and standards.
• Coordinate with farm managers for seamless operations.
• Support irrigation equipment maintenance and emergency programs.
• Diagnose equipment and pivot issues; assist with row crop operations.
