The Maschhoffs is seeking an Environmental Operations Technician to support farm operations in Beardstown, IL. You will apply best practices for nutrient management, operate and calibrate application equipment, and help ensure regulatory compliance across state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in agriculture preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements at federal/state level and record-keeping.
• Experience with GIS and field technology for nutrient management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate application equipment and field tech.
• Assist with nutrient management plans and regulatory compliance.
• Develop GIS maps using ARCMAP and maintain accurate records.
• Travel seasonally to remote Midwest locations as needed.
