Position Details:
Title: Environmental Laboratory Technician
Position Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Shift (6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM)
Compensation: $23.75/HR

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Operations team. This role is critical to ensuring our products are safe and compliant. Based primarily in a Grade A/B aseptic manufacturing environment, the technician must be comfortable with gowning procedures and may work independently or with a partner on shift. Key Responsibilities

• Collect environmental monitoring samples (viable surface/air and non-viable air) in processing areas
• Perform environmental monitoring plate reads
• Complete gowning training and maintain certifications
• Conduct microbiological and chemical sampling of process water
• Sample and test clean steam and compressed gases
• Perform data management and documentation activities
• Conduct facilities qualification testing
• Assist with protocol testing as needed
• Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to updates as needed

Qualifications
Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related sciences is required

Experience Required:

• Comfortable working independently and managing directed workload
• Proficiency with computers and standard laboratory techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory data management systems

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with lab data management systems
• Knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques (training provided)
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Previous hands-on laboratory experience
• Must be able to read and write in English
