Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Scientist 1 for our Peoria, IL lab. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a starting compensation of $17.00 per hour.

You will conduct hands-on analysis to ensure the integrity of environmental data affecting communities, and support daily lab operations. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related sciences.
• Training is provided; ability to work in a lab with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret results, documenting procedures and observations.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment.
