Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist 1 for our environmental testing laboratory in Lombard, IL. This full-time, onsite role involves hands-on analysis to ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

You will work with GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments, perform sample analyses, document results, and maintain lab equipment. A Bachelor's degree in a science field and ability to work in a lab are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science field.
• Experience in a laboratory setting or related training.

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
