Pace Analytical Services in Minnesota is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. In this role, you will perform hands-on analyses using GC, HPLC, and ICP, processing air, water, and soil samples to ensure data integrity and accuracy that support environmental health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field; we provide training as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for long periods and using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP to analyze air, water, and soil samples.
• Apply established chemistry and biochemistry methods to detect contaminants.
• Review and interpret analysis results to ensure data integrity.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly for lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
