Job summary

Join Pace Analytical Services in Minnesota as a Scientist to perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory. You will work with instruments like GC, HPLC, and ICP to analyze air, water, and soil samples and ensure data quality that informs community health and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field and the ability to work in a lab environment, including standing for long periods and using PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM degree (or equivalent).
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
