Job summary

Pace Analytical Services seeks a Scientist to perform hands-on environmental analyses in our Minnesota laboratory. You will operate GC, HPLC, and ICP instruments, analyze air, water, and soil samples, and ensure data integrity and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field; training provided.
• Ability to conduct hands-on analysis in a laboratory setting, including PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and similar equipment.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods to identify contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately to maintain lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
