Job summary

Pace® is hiring a Scientist to join the SVOA GC‑LC department. You will perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples in our laboratory settings to ensure data quality that informs environmental decisions and community health.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, have lab experience with GC‑LC, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment with appropriate PPE. This is a full‑time on-site role in our Massachusetts facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry required; or equivalent education/experience.
• Chemistry credit hours with lab hours included from an accredited institution.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of environmental samples using GC-LC and related methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results in lab records.
