Job summary

Pace Labs in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Scientist to perform hands-on environmental analyses using GC, HPLC, and ICP to assess air, water, and soil samples. You will document results and ensure data integrity, supporting health and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field required or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analysis in the laboratory using established chemistry methods to evaluate environmental samples (air, water, soil).
• Review and interpret results; maintain accurate, organized lab records and documentation.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments; ensure data integrity and quality control.
