Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is hiring for a laboratory role focused on environmental sample analysis using GC-MS and GC-FID/PID methods. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field and chemistry lab coursework, with training provided as needed.

Responsibilities include operating and calibrating instruments, documenting procedures and results, and ensuring high-quality lab records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees — or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must have chemistry credit hours with labs from a college or university.
• Preferred experience or knowledge of working with GC-MS and/or GC-FID/PID.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods like GC-MS and GC-FID/PID.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records.
