Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to join our team. The role focuses on logging and tracking receipts, preparing bottle kits, labeling and routing samples, and providing support for courier duties and client service.

The technician ensures compliance with Chain of Custody requirements, prepares shipments, and supports proper disposal of samples and waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to input data into LIMS and manage multiple emails.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming samples; verify receipt against Chain of Custody and document discrepancies.
• Log samples into LIMS daily and assign job numbers for tracking.
• Label samples and route them to appropriate laboratories for analysis.
• Prepare bottle kits for shipment following EPA/DOT requirements.
• Ship samples to other laboratories per DOT regulations when needed.
• Dispose of spent samples and waste per procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Stock supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Perform sample splitting and composites as requested.
• Conduct courier duties to support lab and client needs.
