Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in the United States is seeking a Sample Receiving Associate to unpack environmental samples at the laboratory, record temperatures at receipt, and organize items for project processing. You will verify containers against client paperwork and document discrepancies, ensuring proper sample handling.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for a full shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab.
• Record the temperature of all environmental and chilled samples at receipt.
• Document discrepancies with samples against client paperwork.
• Organize samples on carts according to client paperwork.
• Follow SOPs and safety precautions at all times.
• Assist in Sample Registration with labeling and filing.
• Assist in Bottles Prep with preserving or preparing bottle orders.
