Job summary

SJ Labs in Philadelphia is seeking an Environmental Lab Salesperson to generate new business and manage local accounts in the environmental testing sector, including soil, water, air, and related services. You will promote offerings to environmental/engineering consultants, private companies, and government entities, targeting sales plans and client satisfaction by coordinating with internal lab teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in environmental or lab testing.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and testing processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients in various industries.
• Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business.
• Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed targets and revenue goals.
• Understand and communicate range of environmental testing services offered by the lab.
• Coordinate with lab director on proposals, quotes, and pricing information.
• Collaborate with lab operations to ensure client needs are met and results are accurate.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
