Eversource Energy seeks an Environmental Coordinator to provide environmental support for electric and gas operations in Connecticut. The role focuses on OHM releases, spill containment, regulatory compliance, and contractor coordination to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Connecticut PEP development is encouraged; the job requires strong communication with regulators, customers, and internal teams and may involve on-call responsibilities, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• Three or more years of environmental experience.
• Experience in emergency response, spill response, remediation or regulatory compliance.
• Pathway toward Connecticut DEEP PEP certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides environmental oversight and technical support for assigned service area.
• Responds to OHM releases with containment, mitigation, cleanup, sampling and regulatory closure.
• Directs spill response activities and coordinates with Company operations.
• Participates in scheduled environmental emergency response on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provides environmental support during major storm restoration and emergency events.
• Develops SPCC plans and maintains related environmental documentation.
