Job summary

Eversource seeks an Environmental Coordinator to provide environmental support for electric and gas operations within a Connecticut service area. You will manage OHM releases, coordinate spill response, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting remediation programs and reporting requirements.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental science (or related field) and at least three years of relevant experience, with certification pathways toward Connecticut PEP and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) plus years of relevant environmental experience.
• Experience in environmental emergency response, spill response, remediation, compliance or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides environmental oversight and technical support for assigned service area.
• Responds to OHM releases, containment, mitigation, cleanup, sampling, reporting, and regulatory closure.
• Directs spill response activities and coordinates with environmental contractors and operations.
• Participates in environmental emergency response on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Supports PCB removal, SPCC plans, and environmental program development.
• Represents Eversource with customers, regulators, and external stakeholders.
