Westlake Chemical Corporation seeks a senior Environmental leader for the Natrium, WV site to manage Health, Safety and Environmental programs in support of PEM objectives. You will lead the environmental team and collaborate with manufacturing units to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental sciences, 10 years in petrochemical environments, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven collaboration and project management

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• 10 years progressive environmental, operations, or engineering experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations as applicable to petrochemical plants and general manufacturing required.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, organization, interpersonal and communication skills, with a good working knowledge of related databases and applications, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of developing and managing multiple projects.
• Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity and accountability.
• Possesses conflict resolution skills to achieve desired outcomes.
• Possess or Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential from the Transportation Security Administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide visible and engaged leadership and development to the Natrium Environmental Team.
• Act as a role model and leader for the Natrium Environmental Team, including promoting collaboration with manufacturing stakeholders to develop site improvement plans and actions.
• Ensure regulatory permitting, monitoring, record keeping, reporting, and compliance requests are met.
• Assimilate internal data relative to environmental compliance and manage action plans for continuous compliance.
• Report Safety, Health or Environmental issues promptly to the Sr. HSE Manager.
• Develop proactive management systems to anticipate regulations and implement compliance programs.
• Manage implementation of compliance strategies to maintain or restore compliance, including EPA/WVDEP requirements.
