Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a Natrium Environmental Manager to lead the Environmental Team at the Natrium, WV facility. You will drive health, safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with PEM policies and applicable regulations, and lead proactive management systems. Collaborate with site manufacturing units to align on improvement plans and regulatory expectations.

You will report to the Sr. HSE Manager and play a key role in the HSE Leadership Team, requiring strong communication,

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive environmental, operations, or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations for petrochemical plants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to the Natrium Environmental Team.
• Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to drive site improvements and compliance.
• Interface with governmental and regulatory bodies to meet requirements.
• Integrate environmental concepts into daily work activities.
• Develop proactive environmental management systems and compliance programs.
• Manage and monitor regulatory permitting, reporting, and records.
• Ensure safety of personnel and timely reporting of issues to Sr. HSE Manager.
• Lead actions to return the site to compliance when non‑compliance exists.
