Who We Want

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated EH&S Manager with technical expertise and a passion for safety and sustainability. The ideal candidate is a safety advocate, detail-oriented problem solver, organized project manager, proactive learner, collaborative team player, and knowledgeable educator.

Responsibilities

1. Lead EH&S compliance efforts according to local, state, federal, and international standards.
2. Create and deliver engaging safety training programs.
3. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
4. Maintain permits, records, reports, and documentation.
5. Oversee SDS management, labeling, and hazard communication.
6. Monitor regulatory changes and update internal practices accordingly.
7. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to embed safety into processes and designs.
8. Champion employee health and wellness initiatives.
9. Serve as the internal expert on the safe use of abrasives in surface preparation.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 3–5 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
3. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
4. CSP, CIH, CHMM certifications are a plus or a goal within the first year.
5. Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
6. Familiarity with Lean environments and visual management is helpful.

Physical Requirements

1. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
2. Walk, stand, and navigate safely through manufacturing environments.
3. Use standard office and computer equipment for extended periods.
4. Work in typical manufacturing conditions: noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
