We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for our Reflective Business at the Painesville, OH, Building 7 site. The role involves participating in the Plant Leadership Team, reporting to the Operations Manager, and engaging employees at all levels and shifts to foster a safety culture and achieve zero injuries. Responsibilities include coordinating EHS functions, developing and implementing EHS programs, standards, training, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EHS programs such as Hazcom, PSM, RCRA, Title V, stormwater, hearing conservation, LOTO, machine guarding, TRI reporting, and employee participation programs.
  • Maintain OSHA logs and other regulatory records.
  • Develop and oversee environmental health and safety training programs.
  • Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform risk assessments, develop hazard control practices, and lead safety analysis and PPE compliance.
  • Manage compliance records, reports, and permits, and monitor regulatory changes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct risk assessments of machinery and conditions.
  • Support leadership with EHS implementation, maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, and lead safety teams.
  • Assist with emergency plans and participate in the Corporate EHS Network.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Environmental Engineering/Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of leadership in EHS with progressive responsibilities; advanced certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing safety and knowledge of relevant regulations (NFPA, OSHA, Hazcom, GHS, industrial hygiene).
  • Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
