Role Overview

Are YOU a strategic, innovative facilities Health Safety and Environmental manager ready to help clients optimize their business?

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a qualified Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to support occupational health, safety, and environmental initiatives across multiple sites for a multinational consumer products company. The Regional HSE Manager will work collaboratively with the Director of HSE and Facilities Director to deploy the HSE management system and strategic initiatives that foster a zero-harm safety culture.

Incentives: This role is remote, and the selected candidate MUST be able to travel 40% of the time.

What You'll Do

1. Review unit-specific policies and procedures for controlling occupational health, safety, and environmental hazards under Federal, State, and local regulations (e.g., Control of Hazardous Energy).
2. Measure the effectiveness of Operational Excellence / HS&E strategies and programs objectively.
3. Support and follow direction from the Corporate Services' HSE Director as required.
4. Assist sites with preparing risk registers.
5. Conduct Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental audits.
6. Recommend, justify, implement, and manage safety devices, equipment, and products to protect employees and customers and mitigate losses.
7. Serve as an in-house consultant during OSHA, EPA, DOT inspections, investigations, or complaints, providing guidance and direction focused on accident prevention and risk mitigation.
8. Produce HS&E progress reports to meet the account's HS&E objectives.
9. Train and educate employees on HS&E topics as necessary.
10. Track accident causes and injury trends, facilitating remedial actions.
11. Conduct routine on-site HS&E inspections and implement corrective actions.
12. Present safety updates at internal leadership and client meetings. Provide on-site consulting for Safety and Environmental Audits.
13. Track sustainability data across multiple units.
