Job summary

Remedial Construction Services (RECON) is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our environmental remediation and civil construction services across North America. The role supports our Western Business Unit and requires travel up to 50% to engage with potential clients and partners.

The ideal candidate has extensive BD experience, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of related sales/business development experience in environmental remediation, decommissioning, industrial demolition or civil construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation abilities.
• High-level negotiation and closing skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand RECON’s services to new clients.
• Manage key accounts and understand client portfolios, projected spend, and needs.
• Identify marketing opportunities and build partnerships to expand market penetration.
• Build and maintain a proactive sales pipeline for large and strategic opportunities.
• Develop and present marketing collateral, secure in-person meetings, and close deals.
