Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Entry-Level Geologist or Engineer to join our Resilience Environment team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role blends field and office work, with 50% to 75% field time and travel within the U.S. for up to two weeks at a time.

You will receive mentorship to grow professionally while tackling geotechnical, environmental site characterization, and remediation tasks. Your core duties include supporting PMs/TMs, performing data collection/interpretation, lab assistance, and R&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Geology, Engineering, or closely related field.
• Preferred MS in Geology or Engineering.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and MSHA 40-hour surface/underground.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs/TMs in planning and executing geotechnical tasks and instrumentation installation.
• Oversee field activities including soil/groundwater sampling and drilling oversight.
• Support regulatory file reviews, technical reports, and project cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, hydrologists, and geologists on project work.
