Job summary

Firstech Environmental, Inc. in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to support remediation crews on active sites.

You’ll stage materials, operate hand tools, and perform earthwork under supervision, outdoors in changing weather, with PPE and safety rules. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a valid NJ driver’s license, and reliable transportation; CDL Class A is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• CDL Class A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials, tools, and equipment to prepare each site.
• Execute project tasks following supervisor direction and procedures.
• Use hand tools and equipment to complete daily remediation activities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform earthwork such as digging, moving dirt, and compacting soil.
• Assist contractors as needed and maintain proactive communication with team.
• Train peers on familiar tasks and expand skills from coworkers.
• Clean up work areas and properly store tools and construction equipment.
