Job summary

Firstech Environmental, Inc. in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to support remediation crews on active sites.

You’ll stage materials, operate hand tools, and perform earthwork under supervision, outdoors in changing weather, with PPE and safety rules. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a valid NJ driver’s license, and reliable transportation; CDL Class A is a plus.

Our team is known for responsive environmental solutions across the state.A Day in This RolePicture this: you arrive on site, review the day’s priorities with your supervisor, and stage materials, tools, and equipment for the remediation crew. You work outdoors in changing weather, using a wide range of hand tools to dig, move and compact soil, and clear hazardous and non-hazardous debris. You support craft workers, masons, and mechanical foremen as needed, keep communication flowing with company personnel, and follow detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Throughout the day, you wear proper PPE—headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, respirator, and protective clothing—and follow health and safety rules while onsite, operating equipment, and driving.
