Job summary

Depot Connect International in Belpre, OH is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety conscious team. This role covers hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Responsibilities include PPE usage, operating tools and equipment, field sampling, and staying compliant with US DOT/OSHA guidelines. On-call rotation may apply; physical work and outdoor conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check, drug test and medical exam.
• Emergency response capability may be required (on-call).
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and hand tools.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and access tanks, trucks, and containers.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations and company guidelines.
