Job summary

Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination tasks in the field.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, handling hazardous materials, and complying with safety policies. On-call emergency response may rotate weekly; background checks and fit testing are required for this role.

Qualifications

• On-call availability; may work weekends and holidays; emergency response may extend beyond 8 hours, up to 12-24 hrs.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam, as required by position
• OSHA Respiratory Protection standard, facial hair standards

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to make Health and Safety the number one priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE properly, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters; inspect drums and containers.
