Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Operational Service Center, directing field staff to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and core values. You will lead safety initiatives, manage performance, and coordinate with Project Management to align contracts with execution.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, leadership, and budget management skills, plus OSHA/HazWoper training. Expect field time and on-call duties as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proven ability to lead a team of 4-6 direct reports.
• Experience implementing safety programs and maintaining safety culture.
• Ability to set performance standards and monitor improvements.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and background check.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call availability.
• OSHA 40-hour CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Supervisors in delivering Environmental Contracting Services per company standards.
• Foster a safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance with Health and Safety directives.
• Provide coaching and timely performance feedback to operational staff.
• Develop and monitor PIPs to meet performance targets.
• Manage controllable operating expenses (labor, materials, equipment).
• Partner with Project Management to align scope with client contracts.
