Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, public administration, business administration, or related field.
• Five years in environmental services, solid waste, pollution, sustainability, or related areas.
• Two years supervisory/administrative experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, prioritizes work, conducts evaluations, ensures training and adherence to policies.
• Establishes schedules, allocates resources, and monitors service delivery.
• Develops/monitors policies, ensures compliance, and implements improvements.
• Leads public meetings to explain goals, handles inquiries, and resolves solid waste issues.
• Coordinates with divisions and external agencies; supports Environmental Services Director.
