Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Water Systems Supervisor to oversee diagnostics, repair and maintenance of equipment at water and wastewater plants and related facilities. You will supervise a team, coordinate with divisions and agencies, and ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

The role requires five years of relevant maintenance experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and physical screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Five (5) years of responsible experience in the repair, service, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Must pass Drug Screen, Physical screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations by prioritizing and assigning work orders.
• Supervise staff responsible for maintenance and repair of potable water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Participate in requisition of materials and prepare equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with other divisions and outside agencies; prepare staff reports.
