Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services invites a Summer 2027 Environmental Intern to join our San Francisco, CA team. The intern will assist with environmental tasks on diverse land development projects, gaining hands-on field and reporting experience under environmental leadership guidance.

The role offers exposure to site feasibility studies, fieldwork, technical report preparation, and calculations, with opportunities to work on design plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or greater.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental field investigations and data collection.
• Support reporting, calculations, and site documentation.
• Learn data management and modeling tools for environmental media.
• Prepare logs, field forms, and preliminary analyses.
• Support preparation of technical reports and figures.
