Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op - Environmental for Summer 2027 in Tampa, FL. You will assist with environmental aspects of land development projects, including field work, report prep, and calculations, while partnering with environmental leadership.

This role offers exposure to site feasibility studies, data analysis, and documentation, with opportunities to learn field equipment use and GIS tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of GIS or environmentally related software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations including logging borings and sampling.
• Monitor construction projects and verify contractor compliance with specifications.
• Document results and prepare field investigation reports.
• Prepare logs, field forms, and data records for projects.
• Learn data management, modeling tools, and use of field equipment.
