Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of GIS or environmentally related software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations (borings, samples, field tests, data collection).
• Monitor construction projects by performing tests to ensure contract specs are met.
• Identify solutions to field/lab problems and document results.
• Prepare reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
• Prepare logs and field forms (drilling logs, daily logs, chain of custody).
• Learn data management and modeling tools for environmental media and engineering analyses.
• Conduct file reviews, site reconnaissance, and prepare reports.
• Prepare laboratory data summary tables and figures.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, and photos to assess soil, hydrology, and geology data for planning and design.
• Perform other duties as requested.
