Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at customer sites, labs, and plants. This is a customer-facing, entry-level management track role with opportunities to advance within Clean Harbors.

The role requires a CDL Class B and the ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days, along with a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Formación

• Valid Driver's license.
• CDL Class B.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical per position.
• OSHA/29 CFR 1910.34 respirator facial hair standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifest, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas, and drums for leaks and compliance.
• Inspect storage areas and drums for labeling compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct projects at customer locations in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare and approve projects before shipment per policies.
• Follow site-specific regulations and health and safety plans.
