Allianz Commercial North America is seeking an Environmental Executive Underwriter based in Colorado, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. You will lead underwriting and growth of the North American EIL book, mentor junior underwriters, and collaborate across Underwriting, Legal, Risk, Claims and Operations to meet growth goals.

Reporting to the Environmental Practice Leader, you will drive marketing, negotiate terms with brokers, and develop creative solutions with Risk Consultants and Product

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in environmental underwriting or related field.
• Experience with environmental consulting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building with brokers and internal teams.
• Experience applying AI/ML to improve processes is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite and service new and renewal environmental accounts, negotiating terms and pricing with brokers.
• Develop marketing initiatives and strengthen broker relationships.
• Build a pipeline of new opportunities through marketing and industry events.
• Collaborate with global Allianz Commercial teams on complex programs.
• Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to risk and product development projects.
• Drive strategic projects impacting EIL results.
