Jobgether SRL in the United States seeks an experienced Environmental Executive Underwriter to lead complex environmental risks, oversee new and renewal accounts, and drive profitable growth in site pollution and related lines. You will mentor junior underwriters and collaborate with risk consultants, claims, legal, and international colleagues to craft client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of environmental underwriting experience; consulting background is a plus.
• Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or related field.
• Strong technical underwriting skills with ability to assess complex environmental risks from multiple sources.
• Experience managing accounts, negotiating pricing and terms, balancing development with profitability.
• Proven ability to build broker and stakeholder relationships and communicate persuasively.
• Leadership and thought leadership with ability to influence decisions and mentor others.
• Proactive, commercial mindset with entrepreneurial approach to client challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with legal, claims, risk, product and international teams on complex programs.
• Familiarity with AI tools and applying AI/ML to business processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service new and renewal environmental accounts (site/pollution, contractors pollution, excess follow-form).
• Evaluate risks, negotiate pricing and terms with brokers while maintaining portfolio profitability.
• Strengthen portfolio quality and drive sustainable growth and underwriting results.
• Lead marketing and develop broker relationships through responsive service and expertise.
• Develop a pipeline of new business via proactive marketing and industry events.
• Coordinate with international colleagues to support global programs.
