Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water Services team. You will gain hands-on experience across planning, design, and construction while learning from experienced professionals on a diverse municipal, federal, and industrial project portfolio.

You will research engineering solutions and support analyses and design activities using ArcGIS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and related software throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering analyses and design efforts on water, wastewater, and environmental projects.
• Assist with technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
• Develop maps, figures, presentations, and other project materials.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities, providing exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field
