Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an Environmental Co Op/Intern in Massillon, OH to support environmental engineering activities across wastewater, stormwater, and mill processes. Responsibilities include collecting samples, updating SOPs, and helping ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, are permanent U.S. residents, and have completed freshman year.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering and have completed freshman year.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples including wastewater, stormwater, and other mill process areas.
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation systems including emissions data and compliance reports.
• Participate in environmental projects related to wastewater treatment, landfill operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize environmental and production data systems to identify trends and improve compliance management.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers and mill personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Additional duties as requested by management.
