Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks an Environmental Co-op/Intern for our Massillon, OH facility. You will collect and analyze environmental samples (wastewater, stormwater), maintain lab equipment, and update SOPs while supporting regulatory reporting.

You will join a team of engineers to support wastewater treatment, compliance projects, and data systems, helping ensure safe, efficient mill operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver’s license.
• Majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; freshman year completed or to be completed by start of co-op.
• Participation in the listed schools or enrollment at eligible state universities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples (wastewater, stormwater).
• Maintain laboratory equipment and update/create SOPs.
• Support regulatory reporting and daily emissions data tracking.
