Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an Environmental Co-Op/Intern to collect and analyze environmental samples, maintain lab equipment, and manage compliance documentation at PCA's Wallula, WA location.

The role requires an engineering major (Chemical, Civil, or Environmental) and a 3.0 GPA, with freshman year completed or in progress. Co-op users will support wastewater projects and mill operations in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0/4.0 required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or related field and have completed freshman year by co-op start.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples (wastewater, stormwater, other mill areas).
• Maintain lab equipment and update SOPs as needed.
• Maintain environmental records and compliance reports for regulatory agencies.
• Participate in projects related to wastewater treatment, landfill operations, and residuals management.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers and mill personnel to ensure safe, compliant operations.
