Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an Environmental Engineering Co-op to support surveys, sampling, and regulatory compliance at PCA mill locations. The role involves significant field work and collaboration with corporate and site environmental staff.

The co‑op will collect and analyze environmental samples, maintain lab equipment, and help update SOPs while gaining exposure to wastewater treatment and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0/4.0 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Visit mill and box plant sites to assist with environmental surveys and audits.
• Collect, analyze and manage samples (wastewater, stormwater, other process areas).
• Maintain laboratory equipment and SOP documentation.
• Support environmental projects related to wastewater, landfills, residuals, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with environmental staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.
