Qualified students are majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering with a 3.0 GPA minimum. This co‑op offers hands‑on experience within PCA’s environmental engineering team and is based in PCA’s NC facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver’s license.
• Majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related field; freshman year completed or will be completed by time of co‑op.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples (wastewater, stormwater, and mill areas).
• Maintain laboratory equipment and update or create SOPs as needed.
• Maintain and improve environmental records and documentation systems (daily emissions data and regulatory reports).
• Participate in projects related to wastewater treatment, landfill operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize data systems to identify trends and improve compliance processes.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers and mill personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
