Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. seeks an Environmental Specialist for a large union manufacturing site in Michigan. The role focuses on plant environmental programs, regulatory reports, and permit compliance within the EHS team.

The position reports to the Plant EHS Manager and supports environmental compliance activities across water/wastewater, stormwater, and chemical management areas. A BS in a related field and 2 years of plant environmental experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field is required.
• Experience with regulatory reports and permits is essential.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure permit and regulatory compliance.
• Coach line personnel on environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local agencies.
• Coordinate all environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up activities.
• Prepare and submit necessary reports and maintain records.

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
