Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a dedicated EHS professional for a large union manufacturing plant in Michigan. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in a related technical field and at least 2 years of plant environmental experience, focusing on water/wastewater, stormwater, or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

You will join the site EHS team and report to the Plant EHS Manager. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining compliance processes, mentoring line personnel, and compiling

• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
