Hire Consulting Services in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist for a large, union manufacturing site. The role requires a BS in a related technical field and at least two years of plant environmental experience.

You will manage environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits, focusing on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management. You will join the site EHS team and report to the Plant EHS Manager.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
