Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Plant Environmental Specialist to join the site EHS team in Muskegon, MI. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, reporting, and permit management for a large manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in a related technical field, with responsibilities spanning water/wastewater, stormwater, and waste/SPCC/chemical management as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field required.
• Experience with permits and regulatory reporting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure permit and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
