6 Degrees Search is seeking a candidate to support environmental compliance at a large union manufacturing plant. The role reports to the Plant EHS Manager and focuses on regulatory reports, permits, and environmental program execution on-site in Muskegon, Michigan.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related technical field and at least two years of plant environmental experience, with a track record of coordinating sampling, reporting, and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field is required.
• Experience managing regulatory reports and permits a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure regulatory compliance and permits.
• Coach line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit environmental reports to Federal, state and local agencies.
• Coordinate all environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain records.

Bachelor of Science in related technical field

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
