Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist at our Muskegon, MI site to join the EHS team. The role focuses on managing environmental issues, permits, and regulatory reporting with support from the Plant EHS Manager.

Key responsibilities include developing compliant processes, coaching line personnel, coordinating sampling and reporting, and maintaining required records. This position requires a BS in a related technical field and 2+ years of plant environmental experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Experience with environmental permits and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure permit and regulatory compliance.
• Coach line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit reports to Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate all environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain recordkeeping.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
